Margaret (Maggie) Catherine Ryan (father's name) Callaghan (stepfather's name) on 6-6-1903 at St Aloysius.
Margaret died 31-12-1925 and is interred with her mother in West Tce Cemetery.
A newspaper article gives us some rather sad information about Bernard McEvoy aged 20 years:
HAMMOND, November 17....Another young man, Bernard P. McEvoy, met with a painful accident on the same run (Murnpeowie).
Whilst driving a team of horses he struck himself in the eye with the whip, cutting the eye so severely that he was blinded.
It was six days before he reached Dr. Shuter, of Port Augusta, who took the eye out.
